MIKAYLA IS A MIRACLE WORKER! This is my 2nd time sending Billie (2 years old now) to KoruK9. It has only been 3 days since he has come back, but he is a completely different dog….in all the best ways!
Before Mikayla, Billie was aggressive (bit multiple people), guarded his food, possessive of mom, barked, and was just overall out of control! We were so desperate that we put him on anti-anxiety medication to calm him down and he wore a muzzle with strangers were in the home. He is no longer on the medicine and is somehow calmer than with the medication.
Since he has come back home, he knows his place and stays there until ‘break’ even with distractions like friends and food. We are no longer worried to have friends over and just feel an overwhelming sensation of peace. The energy of our home has changed so we can live together as a family versus always being on edge and letting our puppy run/ruin our lives.
I LOVED the detailed weekly updates and she continues to respond to all of our questions. You could tell from the messages and videos/photos that she took the time to really understand Billie’s underlying issues and she customized her training strategy to meet his needs and unique personality.
We can’t thank Mikayla enough for saving us and helping Billie. I’m optimistic that with the ongoing training combined with Mikayla’s strong foundation that Billie will only continue to improve and we will live a life in peace.
